XCast Labs appoints cliff rees ceo

 

LOS ANGELES (September 1, 2008) -- XCast Labs (www.xcastlabs.com), a leading global provider of SaaS digital voice and video solutions, today announced that Cliff Rees has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

 

In his role as CEO, Mr. Rees will direct and oversee the Company’s growth, operations and overall strategy.

Mr. Rees has an extensive background in both creating new businesses and growing existing entities, by building and managing capable teams, and providing the means and direction for them to execute. Mr. Rees, who is also an XCast Labs Founder and Director, has more than 25 years of telecommunications and hi-tech executive experience, including as founder and CEO of Telegroup, Inc., which he grew over 10 years to a $330M global telco in 1998.

 

Additional experience of note includes his role as President of Convergia, Inc., in 2001-2002, where he was responsible for all aspects of the business, including implementation of a pan-Americas VoIP network. Under his watch, the company grew from a startup to $4M in December 2002, with a gross profit margin in excess of 30%.
